It was warm and late into summer when two dreamers met, not knowing that their souls would soon be entwined and their hearts would beat as one.
A tall, bright blonde-haired and green-eyed girl was walking on the path of route 3, toward Striaton City. Being followed by her three pokemon, she was enjoying the walk and beautiful scenery. Having arrived from the Hoenn region into Castelia City by pokemon, she decided to go to the southwest cities.
Leaving from Nacrene City this morning, she went off onto route 3 in hopes to arrive in Striaton City by the end of the day.
The sun was setting by the time she reached her destination. The girl went to the pokemon center to rent a room to sleep in for the night, only to find that it was under renovations and the center was only capable of healing pokemon. Shrugging this off, she leisurely strolled over to a tree to sleep in for the night, for she had slept in trees easily for as long as she could remember.
Returning her pokemon to their poke balls, she climbed up the tree and fell asleep on the thick branches for the night.
The girl was awoken the next day at sunrise by a voice. Looking down, she spotted a blue-haired teen looking up at her. Soon he was joined by two other teens that looked identical to him except for their hair and eyes.
“Hey miss, what are you doing, sleeping up in that tree?” The blue haired boy asked her.
“Hey, looks like we’ve got a cutie camping out for me! Look, she’s blushing! She looks like a pikachu!” The red headed boy called, grinning, sounding rather self righteous.
This irritated and surprised the girl. Rooting quickly through her bag, she pulls out an apricorn and throws it at the red-haired boy, hitting him square in the head.
“That’s no way to treat your crush!” The boy sniffed, being led into the near by building by his blue-haired brother, who wore an amused smile.
There was only a green-haired and green-eyed boy left, who was smiling sheepishly up at the girl.
“Sorry, Chili can be so full of himself. I’m sorry for Cress waking you up as well.”
The well mannered teen just stood staring up at her, she was wearing a blank, sleepy expression. He finally decides to sit down, leaning his back against the tree.
“I’m Cilan,” he said without looking up at the girl, “What’s your name?”
Blinking for a few seconds, the girl replied, “My name’s Toby. Are you the famous Striaton Triplets?”
“Why yes, we are! We also run a café, which is this building right here.” He said, motioning to the building near the tree.
Cilan sits under the tree, just daydreaming and not saying anything. Getting up after sitting there for five minutes, he says, “ If you’d excuse me, I must get back to make preparations for the day in the kitchen. We would like it a lot if you’d drop by later.”
Turning to her, he gave her a little bow and smile and started walking away.
Toby sat in the tree as she watched the tall teen walk into the two story brick building. She thought of how weird it was that three people can look so similar but be so different. Still thinking about the friendly teen and his identical brothers, Toby got ready for the day, looking forward to her future visit to the Striaton Café.
